Kyoto Tool Co., Ltd. exhibits RFID tools at MRO Asia-Pacific 2026 (booth #620)
Japan’s No. 1 Hand tool manufacturer, Kyoto Tool Co., Ltd. (KTC) (TOKYO: 5966), will exhibit at MRO Asia-Pacific 2026, an exhibition for the aviation industry, to be held in Singapore from September 23 to 24, 2026 (Booth No. 620).
At the exhibition, KTC will showcase “nepros ID,” a tool management solution utilizing RFID technology.
“nepros ID” is a system that incorporates RFID tags into tools to streamline tool location tracking, check-out and return management, inventory checks, and other tool management tasks.
At the exhibition, KTC will display numerous tools with built-in RFID tags, including newly developed products. In addition, KTC plans to demonstrate tool management using multiple RFID reader devices, including a smart cabinet equipped with built-in RFID antennas.
Strict tool management is essential in the aviation industry, where foreign object debris (FOD) can lead to serious accidents. Through the digitalization and automation of tool management, “nepros ID” will contribute to improving safety and productivity in the aviation industry.

In September 2025, nepros ID was selected as the winner of the “MRO Technology Achievement of the Year” award at MRO Asia Pacific 2025, organized by Aviation Week Network.
